EcoMentorship Program

The E.L.C. E.A.R.T.H. has successful completed their EcoMentors training and are preparing to launch their ecofriendly awareness program.

The 25 EcoMentors will be working closely with elementary schools in the area to improve environmental habits in young students from grades 1-6. Their mission is to find new and innovative ways to connect with youth and teach them about environmental issues and ways that together we can make a difference.

EcoMentors have unique methods of dealing with issues both upstream and downstream, by preventing problems at the source and fixing problems after they happen. They do this in many ways. With the new recycling program launched at E.L. Crossley S.S., E.A.R.T.H. hopes to improve the green situation at the school in order to make Crossley an EcoSchool. As well as the improved recycling program E.A.R.T.H. Club members are busy with picking up garbage in the school yard.

The E.A.R.T.H. Club, as well as the newly trained EcoMentors are always finding new ways to be a leader in the Green Revolution
